Honoring our Heroes
Information and opportunities to honor Officers Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering are at The City of Westerville website. On Saturday, February 10th, both were killed in the line of duty while responding to a hang-up 9-1-1 call. Officer Morelli was a 29-year veteran of WPD; Officer Joering had been with WPD for 16 years. The Westerville community, and people far beyond it's boundaries have come together and shown support in great numbers with compassion, empathy and love.
