- The Otterbein Cardinals shutout Capital 1-0 Saturday night to capture the OAC Championship in an electric atmosphere of 1,400 fans at Otterbein's Memorial Stadium in Westerville. The OAC Champions were undefeated in league play earning the OAC regular season title as well, the first since the 2002 NCAA Tournament Finalist team. The Cardinals are 17-2 overall, with their current 15-game win streak. 29 Combined shots were taken with the game winner by Eric Stucky at the 47:44 mark in the 2nd period. Otterbein keeper Collin Hoffmann led a resilient defense with 3 saves while recording his 10th shutout of the season. Otterbein is ranked 19th nationally and will play next weekend at a site and opponent to be named in Monday afternoon's tournament draw.
