- At Parkside Village Senior Living Community all residents have the extraordinary opportunity to be artists. The Parkside Art Studio is easily accessible with many fine art media available. The process empowers the artists to trust their intuition and appreciate their unique gifts. Katherine Benalcazar, Director of Life Enrichment oversees the weekly program which we have been fortunate to be a part since 2012. Trained volunteer artists led by Marty Tucker support the artists on their journey. The result of this process is that the artwork created is uniquely theirs. The artists participate in our gallery exhibits throughout the year including "The Annual Joy of Spring Exhibit" as well as their own annual exhibit every September. Their wisdom and life experiences are a wonderful reference to be themselves and tell their story.
