The Uptown Art Camp 2014!
The Uptown Art Camp, for the 11th consecutive year, will take place in the heart of Uptown Westerville at the David Myers Art Studio & Gallery. Artists of all interests and levels of development are accepted and many alumni have gone on to study art in high school and college including some of the top ranked art schools in the country.Age groups 7-10 and 11-15 will create their art in the art studio for 4 days then enjoy an “Artists’ Gallery Reception and Exhibit” featuring their own art! Our artist/instructors will empower the artists to be fully expressed in drawing and painting using various media. Specific techniques and art principles will be taught with an emphasis on challenging the artists individually.The Artist Gallery Reception and Exhibit is free and open to the public…With each artist’s work prominently displayed in the gallery. Invite your friends and family to enjoy the reception and celebrate your artist’s work!This year, a choice of two separate weeks are offered, so it is first come, first served on the remaining openings. Each session will have unique content and many artists register for 2 sessions.June 23-26th, Art Exhibit June 27thSession A-1: ages 7-10 9:00-11:00Session A-2: ages 11-15 12:00-2:00July 21-24th, Art Exhibit July 25thSession B-1: ages 7-10 9:00-11:00Session B-2: ages 11-15 12:00-2:00Session fee $175.
