Special Olympics Ohio - 2018 Summer Games!

Celebrating 50 years of Special Olympics

- Athletes from all over Ohio experience an extraordinary weekend in Columbus for The Special Olympics Ohio Summer Games.  Having photographed Special Olympics for 30 years in California and Ohio, I've witnessed wonderful, inspiring moments and for the past several years my son Massillon shoots the games with me.  Many volunteers, coaches, staff and sponsors make this event happen and I have been fortunate to know incredible volunteers and staff over the years including Mort Witz, Tom Romero, Bob Refuerzo, D'Mitch Davis, Lynn Romero and Paige Ludwig.   While this is an annual event, volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the year.    Information on how to be a part of it all:  Special Olympics Ohio
